Shipping Policy

(1). Shipping or delivery fees are determined solely by the merchandise total for each delivery address. Domestic orders are generally shipped using UPS Ground. Order processing typically occurs within 5 business days but usually takes just 1-2 business days, contingent upon product availability. Larger or more intricate orders may require additional processing time.

(2). Opt for an upgrade to UPS Three Day Select, Second Day Air, or Next Day Air. When opting for these expedited 'air' shipping services, your order, if in stock, will typically be expedited from our warehouse, prioritizing it over Ground service orders. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays in the shipping process, and we do not guarantee a specific delivery date regardless of the chosen shipping service.

(3). We make an effort to prioritize Next Day Air, Second Day Air, and Three Day Select shipments, although the shipping date may be influenced by the time of day or the day of the week when your order is received by us.

(4). Verification of your details for credit card fraud prevention may be necessary, and this process could potentially delay shipping. When calculating delivery dates, it's important to note that the date of dispatch is typically not included in the shipping time, and the estimated delivery date is contingent upon the actual dispatch date. For more information, refer to the email from UPS containing the tracking number, as it will provide an estimated delivery date.

(5). A significant number of our shipments are dispatched with a mandatory signature. This measure is in place to deter mail order fraud, credit card fraud, and the theft of unattended parcels. It might be necessary for you to be present at the delivery address on the designated day of delivery.

(6). UPS may automatically send you this email once your shipment departs from our warehouse, given that you have provided us with a valid email address.

(7). Regardless of the reason, if a delivery is refused or an order is canceled after it has been shipped, our restocking fee will apply. The original shipping costs are non-refundable, and the return shipping costs will be subtracted from any refund. In the case of orders necessitating re-shipment, additional shipping costs will be applicable.

(8). A fee will be incurred for UPS parcel interception (where available) and address modifications.

(9). Occasionally, when utilizing an air service, additional charges may apply based on the dimensions of the package. The cost of air shipping is determined not only by the weight of the order but also by the dimensions of the entire carton.

(10). The majority of our international orders are typically shipped using UPS or USPS (US Postal Service). The delivery service varies depending on the destination country but generally aims for delivery within approximately 10 business days from the date of order processing. When feasible, shipping costs include the purchase of insurance to provide coverage against loss or damage.

(11). Occasionally, the shipping cost presented on the website may be lower than the actual cost. In such cases, if the cost significantly exceeds the estimate, the customer will be obligated to cover the additional expenses. Delivery calculations are based solely on business days (Monday to Friday) and exclude all USA public holidays as well as public holidays in the destination country.

(12). We retain the right to employ an alternative shipping company or courier when deemed necessary, especially for shipments involving a substantial volume of cargo based on weight and/or dimensions. In the case of large and heavy shipments, the cargo may be arranged on one or more pallets. For domestic freight shipping of large, heavy, or palletized shipments, we typically utilize UPS Freight or another trucking company of our selection.

(13). When receiving bulk cargo or palletized shipments, and particularly for all street light purchases, it is crucial to thoroughly check and inspect all items upon delivery. Once signed for, SolarLedWorks or the designated shipping company cannot assume any responsibility for loss, damage, or shortages. Unfortunately, no exceptions or excuses apply.

(14). UPS Freight will attempt delivery once. In the event that the delivery cannot be accepted on the first attempt, any subsequent attempts (second and beyond) will be subject to charges at the current rate set by UPS Freight. These charges are the responsibility of the customer or consignee and must be paid accordingly.

(15). The utilization of the lift gate on the UPS Freight truck is only available if agreed upon in advance. This service incurs charges, and payment is required in advance.

(16). During the months of November and December, our operations experience exceptionally high demand. To ensure timely delivery for Christmas, we recommend placing orders well in advance.

(17). We have the capability to ship orders to numerous worldwide destinations. For orders shipped outside the USA, there may be import taxes, duties, and fees imposed by the destination country. The specific fees depend on factors such as the value, nature of the commodity, and the origin of your order. It is advisable to consult with your local tax office for accurate information.

(18). We are not liable for shipping delays beyond our control or for any import taxes, duties, fees, or charges associated with the delivery of your order. Additionally, we are not responsible for any issues related to the legal requirements imposed by the destination country regarding the imported order.

(19). If payment is made by check or PayPal eCheck, please allow sufficient clearance time, irrespective of the chosen shipping service. For bank wire transfers, the funds must be received by our bank before the order can be dispatched. For shipping inquiries, kindly reach out via email for further assistance. If UPS shipping is selected, UPS will email the tracking number once, and it cannot be reissued. If the provided email address is invalid, or if there are spam/junk mail filters, and the email is deleted, the tracking number cannot be resent. Orders not shipped by UPS may not receive a tracking number.

(20). SolarLEDWorks does not guarantee the provision of a tracking number for any shipment. Typically, UPS will attempt delivery up to three times. Following the third unsuccessful attempt, your shipment will be automatically returned to SolarLEDWorks by UPS. In such a scenario, your order will be refunded, with deductions for our restocking fee and original shipping costs, or alternatively, the order can be reshipped to you at your expense. We disclaim responsibility for both inbound and outbound shipping costs upon cancellation after an order has been shipped. Additionally, no refund of shipping costs will be issued if a parcel is refused, returned for any reason, or if an incorrect shipping service was selected during checkout. Shipping is a service rendered, and once provided, it is inherently non-refundable.

(21). We do not authorize customer-arranged freight or customer-arranged courier collection for any shipments.

(22). Upon receiving your order, it is imperative to promptly and thoroughly inspect the contents. Any claims regarding shortages, errors, or damage must be reported immediately by telephone during our business hours. Failure to report such issues at the time of receipt will be considered an acknowledgment that the order was received in perfect condition, without damage, error, or shortage. The responsibility for reporting shipping damages, shortages, or order errors rests entirely with the customer, and no claims will be accepted thereafter, irrespective of the reasons provided. No exceptions will be made.

(23). If a product is shipped incorrectly by SolarLEDWorks, it is essential to report the issue immediately, and all parts and packaging must be retained. For cargo shipments, SolarLEDWorks will typically coordinate the collection of the incorrect order. The items must be made available for collection on a date specified (prepared and packaged in their original condition, ready for safe and secure transit). Failure to make the shipment available or not returning it will result in charges, and any costs associated with the attempted collection will be billed to the customer.

(24). For standard parcels, a pre-paid UPS label for the prompt return of an incorrect product will typically be emailed or mailed. At our discretion, a replacement product may be dispatched with a pre-paid UPS label for the immediate return of the incorrect item. Pre-paid UPS labels are issued once only, and if not utilized within 14 days, they will automatically become void. After this period, return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. All returns of incorrect products must reach SolarLEDWorks within 14 days; otherwise, it will be assumed that the customer intends to keep the product. Subsequently, the original product, label costs, and all shipping costs associated with the replacement product will be chargeable.

(25). If your order sustains damage during shipping, it is imperative to note this with the shipping company at the time of delivery and promptly report it to SolarLEDWorks. This allows us to initiate a claim with the shipping company. The damaged shipment should be set aside to await inspection by the shipping company, with all cartons and packaging kept intact. Upon completion and approval of the claim by the shipping company, a replacement part or product will be shipped. In specific situations and at our discretion, a replacement part or product may be shipped before the damage claim is formally approved.

(26). The processing time for a claim with the shipping company may vary and is not within our control, but it is usually resolved within 10 days, contingent upon the nature of the claim and the cargo involved.
